What this tool does

Word Scramble Solver takes any jumble of letters — from a word game, a puzzle book, or just letters you're stuck staring at — and instantly shows you every valid English word you can build from them. You don't need to use every letter; it checks every combination, from short three-letter words up to the full set you typed.

It's built for Scrabble and Words with Friends players checking their rack, Wordle and crossword fans stuck on a clue, and anyone solving a word-jumble puzzle who wants a nudge in the right direction.

How it works

  1. Type your scrambled letters into the rack above.
  2. Click Unscramble (or press Enter).
  3. Browse the results, grouped longest word to shortest.

Frequently asked questions

What's the longest word I can make from these letters?

Results are sorted longest-first, so the top group in your results is the longest word your letters can form.

Does this work for Scrabble or Words with Friends?

Yes — enter your letter rack and check the results against your board's open spaces and either game's official word list.

Is there a limit to how many letters I can enter?

You can enter up to 15 letters, which covers every standard word game rack.

Do I need to use all the letters?

No. The solver finds every valid word from any subset of what you typed, not just full anagrams.
